Weather Impacts Ferries

The coastal storm has left our area, but the wind this morning is impacting the ferries and their schedules.

The ferries in the Pamlico Sound are not running because of high winds right now, according to the NC Ferry System. The Currituck-Knotts Island ferry route is suspended as of now, because of low water in the sound. The Hatteras ferry route is running but with some delays and cancellations.
