A Washington man is facing drug charges after he led deputies on a low-speed chase.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office arrested 60-year-old Ralph Lee Moore, after investigators received complaints of his selling heroin from his home on Horsepen Swamp Road in Washington.
Investigators say they conducted surveillance of Moore and conducted a traffic stop on his vehicle. Moore failed to stop and led investigators on a short low-speed chase.
The sheriff's office says a search of Moore and the vehicle resulted in the seizure of heroin.
Moore faces numerous charges, including possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin.
Moore was taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
