Deputies say a routine traffic stop led them to marijuana hidden in an unlikely place.
Pitt County detectives arrested 23-year-old David Bunch of Washington. Detectives say a traffic stop earlier this morning lead to a canine unit finding marijuana in the car. Investigators say the dogs led them to nearly 4 ounces of marijuana tucked away in the engine.
Bunch is facing felony possession of marijuana charges; his bond was set at$ 6,000 and has already bonded out of jail.
