WEATHER ALERT: Freeze Warning

A late season freeze is expected tonight over much of Eastern Carolina.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning from 2:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Temperatures are expected around 30°.

The cold temperatures could damage sensitive vegetation, and kill crops.

The following counties are included in the freeze warning: Beaufort, Craven, Duplin, Edgecombe, Greene, mainland Hyde, Lenoir, Jones, Martin, Nash, Pamlico, Onslow, Pitt, Tyrrell, Washington, and Wilson counties.
