Vidant Hospitals Receive Honors

Four Vidant system hospitals in the east have earned top honors.

Hospitals under the Vidant umbrella in Greenville, Elizabeth City, Tarboro and Washington have received recognition of good patient care.

The Vidant Medical Center in Greenville received awards for inpatient rehabilitation and cardiology units.

Vidant Beaufort Hospital was recognized for overall outpatient satisfaction for a hospital with fewer than 100 beds.

Vidant Edgecombe Hospital was singled out for inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.

Albemarle Health received awards for their same day surgery unit.
