Two Arrested After Meth Lab Bust In Beaufort County

Two people are charged with making Methamphetamine in Beaufort County.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office reports drug unit investigators found Meth and the items to make it in a camper on Hodges Road in Chocowinity.

According to investigators, the items included fuel, sulfuric acid, lithium batteries and ammonium nitrate, as well as a burn pile near the camper.

The SBI also responded to the scene and assisted in collecting evidence and removing toxic materials.

Matthew McCraw, age 33, and Adina Miller, age 32, both of 2180 Hodges Road in Chocowinity, were arrested and face multiple charges.

They were locked up under a $100,000 secured bond.
