POWER OUTAGES: Most Have Power Again

Most of the people who lost power during Sunday's storm do have electricity flowing to their homes again.

DOMINION POWER

Power has been fully restored to Dominion Power customers from Sunday's storm.


TIDELAND EMC

Power was restored to the remaining customers without electricity early Wednesday morning.


PROGRESS ENERGY

Power has been fully restored to Progress Energy customers from Sunday's storm.


CITY OF NEW BERN

At 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, the City of New Bern said all reported power outages had been restored.


GREENVILLE UTILITIES:

Greenville Utilities is reporting all customers have been restored.

On Sunday afternoon, the company reported 15,000 Greenville Utilities customers without power after wind speeds of more than 63 miles per hour swept through the area. As of 5:30 p.m. that same night, power has been restored to nearly 3,000 customers.

Washington says at the peak, the city had 10,000 electric customers without power. As of noon Monday, the city says only 1,000 customers remain without power.

Power has been fully restored to Edgecombe-Martin County EMC customers from Sunday's storm.
