Six Pounds Of Pot Found After Washington Traffic Stop

Police in Washington say they seized more than six pounds of marijuana inside a vehicle, and another pound of pot in Wake County.

Jeremiah Stubbs of Bladenboro in Bladen County was arrested earlier this month for a traffic violation. He was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They say the six pounds was found in his car after it was stopped and then they worked with probation and ALE officers to recover more than a pound of pot in the Garner area.

The 34-year-old Stubbs was jailed in Wake County on a $1,000,000 bond.
