A man is accused of assaulting two women and trying to rob one of them, all on the same night.
Keith Sinclair of Chocowinity is charged with attempted strong-arm robbery, simple assault, communicating threats, first degree burglary, and assault by strangulation.
Greenville police say on June 9th Sinclair is accused of breaking into a woman's motel room at the Economy Inn and assaulting her. The victim told police she didn't know Sinclair and she was able to escape her attacker and call police.
Then about two hours later another woman said she was at Walgreens on South Memorial Drive renting a movie from a vending machine when a man approached her and demanded money. That woman was also assaulted.
The 47-year-old was jailed on a $200,000 bond.
