June 24 Interruptions In Service Scheduled For Bayview-Aurora Ferry Route
One ferry route in the east will temporarily suspend some runs Sunday and Tuesday.
The N.C. Department of Transportation's ferry division will temporarily suspend operations at its Bayview-Aurora route between 10:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., Sunday, June 24, for ferry maintenance to the vessel Gov. Daniel Russell. Runs will also be suspended from 9:45 a.m.to 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, for ramp replacement on the Aurora side.
Installation of the new ramp Tuesday is expected to be completed in time for the 4:45 p.m. departure from Aurora.
