Greenville Man, Beaufort County Woman Charged In Violent Home Invasion

A Greenville man and a woman from Beaufort County are locked up, charged with a violent home invasion last month in Pamlico County.

Deputies say it happened early on July 22nd on Scotts Store Road in the Granstboro area. Four people armed with a shotgun forced their way into the home around 1:00 a.m.

Two of the four people inside the home were beaten with a shotgun, while the robbers got away with almost $600 in cash.

So far deputies have charged Crystal Dawson of Edward with first degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault inflicting serious bodily injury. The 32-year-old woman is being held on a $100,000 secured bond.

Also arrested is Anthony Bragg of Greenville. He is charged with first degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree kidnapping, and felony conspiracy. His bond was set at $150,000.
