Gasoline prices here in Eastern Carolina continue to drop as supply outpaces demand.

In Washington, several convenience stores were selling regular gas at $3.25 a gallon on Monday. On Tuesday, gas dropped to $3.23 per gallon at one station in Washington.

Gasbuddy.com says only in Marion is gasoline cheaper in the state, at $3.21 a gallon. For many in Washington it was a pleasant end to the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Even at the beach the price had dropped. Gasbuddy.com shows some places in Atlantic Beach and Morehead City at $3.33 for regular gas.
