Firefighters in Washington are reaching new heights in their training and certifications.
The Washington Fire Department has been practicing high, difficult to reach rescue conditions like grain silos, building rooftops, and the Highway 17 bridge.
All 30 members of the department have been learning how to utilize baskets and ropes to safely lower victims to the ground as well as developing their skills in rappelling.
The four month training course concludes in September.
