A Crimestoppers tip led authorities to a suspect wanted for breaking into a church and stealing items, and for stealing from his employer.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's office says 28-year-old Tolby Bright of Washington stole a large quantity of copper from an HVAC company where he worked, and also broke into the Word of Life Worship Center under construction, and where he had been working, and stole five evaporator coils. Bright's bond was set at $15,000.

Sad, but this young man had everything going for him.. a good job, a family, 5 children. Now, those children will be without a Daddy. And, obviously no child support for them since he'll end up in the pen... :-( What was he thinking?? Idiot.

He should have been able to hear the cops coming with a set of ears like that!

The judge should make him legally change his last name to Dim.

This world is becoming a sorry place when someone with HVAC skills has to resort to stealing. HVAC is a highly paid occupation.

Sadly, the HVAC guys don't get paid all that well, it is the owner that makes the majority of the money and as well they should. They are the ones taking all the risks. Doesn't give anyone the right to steal, though! Seen the way the HVAC guys drive the stink out of their owner's trucks?

Yes, I do agree on the abuse on the trucks. I have two sons that are in the HVAC business. They own their own companies. The one in Va. pays his skilled employees $18.00 to 22.00 an hour. The one in Nc. starts his entry level employees at no less that $15.50 an hour and both companies have a super benifit package.
