Beaufort County Man Accused Of Shooting Neighbor's Pit Bull

A Beaufort County man has been charged with shooting his neighbor's pit bull.

Deputies say Michael Duncan of Keysville Road has been charged with felony cruelty to animals.

Back on Valentine's Day, deputies received a report that the dog had been shot in the neighbor's yard. They say the dog later died.

The 44-year-old man turned himself in and his bond was set at $5,000.
