Beaufort County Taking Comments On Animal Control, Elections

A public hearing will open doors at 7 p.m. Monday night and open the floor for residents to talk about the animal control ordinance and how commissioners are elected in Beaufort County.

The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners will be all ears in Room #111 at the Beaufort County Administration Building Monday night.

A notice from the county said those who want their voices heard on either issue are asked to sign up as spots may be limited.

Organizers expect for the animal control ordinance to be presented first and the method of county commissioner elections issue to be taken up around 7:15 p.m.

The county administration building is located at 121 West Third Street in Washington.
