Students in another school system will be going to class a bit longer each day to make up lost time because of the snow.
Beaufort County Schools says class time will be extended by 10 minutes to the beginning of each school day. This begins for students and staff on Monday.
The school system says buses will run approximately 10 minutes earlier than normal, while dismissal times will not change.
Barring additional weather problems, Beaufort County says this schedule should remain in place for students.
Earlier this month, Carteret County Schools announced it was extending its school day by 14 minutes to make up for lost school days.
