Beaufort County Man Killed In Wreck Sunday Morning

A Beaufort County man was killed in a wreck early Sunday morning.

Troopers say 46-year-old William Cutler Jr. of Pantego was traveling west on US 264 near Seed Tick Neck Road when his pickup truck ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.

It happened around 1 a.m. about 3 miles west of Pantego.

Troopers say Cutler was not wearing a seat belt and died in the collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
