Free Dental Clinic Continues Saturday

The North Carolina Missions of Mercy organization is once again holding its free dental clinic at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Washington.

The clinic offers free dental work to uninsured and low income people in need.

Dentists from around the state volunteer to do everything from cleanings, to fillings, to extractions.

Hundreds of people showed up for the first day of the clinic Friday. Patients say they're thankful for the clinic. Dentists say they expect to treat up to 400 people by the time the clinic wraps up Saturday.

Registration begins at 6:00 a.m. Saturday at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church on North Bonner street in Washington.

I just want to say a BIG thank you to the Dentists their assistance all the volunteers for caring enough to donate their time and efforts to the people in need of dental work but could not afford to get it done. My husband had a mouthful of teeth problems that needed attention starting a while back in time. We just could not afford the high prices they want for dental work here so it had to be put off. That is until they all started to hurt, that is when I found these people on the net. What a relief that was.Again thank you all at Mission for Mercy you are the greatest. And a BIG thank you to Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Washington for having these clinics in your beautiful church I will always remember everyone's kindness and caring that was shown to my husband especially and to me as well. Thanks a Million :)
