ENC Soaks In Last Day Of Vacation Before Heading Back To Work

We couldn't have asked for a better 4th of July weekend and many rounded out the holiday by spending Monday outside. Perfect timing since temperatures are only supposed to rise.

Washington's Waterfront was absolutely beautiful Monday afternoon, sunny skies, a cool breeze, low humidity.

All day, locals enjoyed picnics, some cast out their nets for a day of fishing, while others took the opportunity to take a bike ride or go boating. And when it comes to mother nature's next round of steamy conditions, most we spoke to had a pretty relaxed approach to the situation.

Many said they were trying to spend as much time outside because they'd most likely be inside the rest of the week.
