Sex Offender Charged With Failing To Report Address Change

A sex offender living in Beaufort County is accused of failing to notify the sheriff's office of an address change.

Terrance Moore, age 26 of Sandpointe Drive in Washington, was charged. Officials say Moore turned himself in on March 11 and was released on a $2,500 secured bond. Moore was convicted in 2007 of taking indecent liberties with a 13-year-old victim.

The patrol division of the sheriff's office performs routine checks on registered sex offenders to confirm they are living at the address they have provided.

it was wrong for him not to turn himself in, but don't suggest a place for him to go and abuse another child.

A 13 year old??? Is he really getting the justice he deserves? This Thing is living in Beaufort County, I am ashamed of Beaufort County for not putting him away, And only a 2500.00 bond, how about NO bond. How about 80 years to life? You know these kind of people can not be rehabilitated or fixed or ever trusted...its a proven fact! Has this guy contributed anything at all to Beaufort County? Absolutely Worthless person who does not deserve the air he breaths! Get the point!
