A new fire chief has been selected for Washington.
Robbie Rose was named fire/rescue/EMS chief Monday after serving as interim chief since last June.
Rose, who has been with the city since 1987, replaces Jimmy Davis. Davis was first put on suspension and then let go by the city last summer.
Prior to be named interim chief, Rose served as fire prevention division chief.
