S.I. Swimsuit Edition Features ENC Jewelry

A native North Carolinian is flaunting her stuff on the front cover of the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and one eastern Carolina jewelry manufacturer couldn't be happier.

Super-model Brooklyn Decker is wearing pieces from Washington jewelry maker Nautora. The company sent about 30-pieces to Sports Illustrated and crossed its fingers.

In the end the popular magazine featured seven pieces from the Beaufort County company who is an official licensee of Guy Harvey jewelry, which means they base designs off the famous wildlife artist's creations.

Nautora employees told us 10-percent of sales go to the Guy Harvey Foundation, which is a program that educates the younger generation about conservation and how to save the ocean.

I saw this jewelry at Washington Jewelers last weekend. It is really pretty. Good to hear a local company makes it. Congratulations to Nautora. That's quite an accomplishment.
