Five people have been arrested on cocaine charges after a bust in Beaufort County last week.
Beaufort County deputies searched a home on Highway 171 in Washington last Thursday. With the help of their drug dog Elza, they found 130 grams of cocaine, 500 grams of marijuana, 80 dosage units of ecstasy, digital scales, plastic baggies and $6853.00 in cash.
Charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia are Derek Harris, and Tylanda Mitchell, both of Washington, Doylene Stanley of Chocowinity, and Renardo Langley of Washington.
Clifton Smith of Chocowinity was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Harris was jailed on a $155,000.00 secured bond, while Mitchell, Stanley and Langley had secured bonds of $100,000 set. Smith was being held on a $15,000 secured bond.
