Suspected Cocaine Dealer Arrested

Authorities have arrested a suspected cocaine dealer in the east.

Jerry Lawrence of Washington was arrested by Beaufort County Sheriffs Deputies on Tuesday.

Lawrence is charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.

Authorities made the arrest after undercover officers bought cocaine from Lawrence. They say they found six grams of cocaine at his residence.

I've witnessed it first hand. EVERYONE at the city needs a 2nd job. Hence my husband no longer working there. Yes, he shouldn't of been selling drugs, but he really is a good friend. Actions don't always reflect character.

Black people knock themselves and their own people down. I am Black and so sick of our people blaming the white man and everyone else. Be responsible for your own actions. There rewards of selling and using any drug is short-lived. Cash Monay-it has been said, "people talk the same way they write." May I suggest you go back to school for some tutorials.

we are trying to keep black people down by busting them for selling drugs...what kind of sense does that make?? how about dont sell drugs? is that the 'success' you mentioned? he was a successful drug dealer? good on him, but i would really like to see black people--and all people succeed in a different way, maybe by making themselves a productive member of society and someone that they (and their mom)can be proud of

hey i AINT NEVER sold coke! (or snorted it). im not guilty of those things at least...its nothing to be proud of to NOT have done drugs/sold drugs as its a GIVEN that you should abide by the law. i think now your friend WILL get his chance to turn his life around..in prison. sad as that is, i hope it works out for him. it wasnt working for him on the outside. lots of peoples lives have been saved by getting busted and going to prison and getting clean.
