Three people have been arrested in Washington involving the embezzlement of city property.
One of those is a city employee. James Ivey is charged with embezzlement and conspiracy and is now on administrative leave from his city job.
Ivey is an inventory control assistant at the city's warehouse. He's worked for Washington since 1991 and makes $31,025 a year.
Also arrested are Anna Ramirez and Rodney Warren, both charged with obtaining property by false pretense and conspiracy.
Police will only say the arrests involve the loss of city property in excess of $1,000 and that they are still trying to determine the final value.
All three people arrested have been released on bond.
