Three Arrested In Public Property Embezzlement Scheme

Three people have been arrested in Washington involving the embezzlement of city property.

One of those is a city employee. James Ivey is charged with embezzlement and conspiracy and is now on administrative leave from his city job.

Ivey is an inventory control assistant at the city's warehouse. He's worked for Washington since 1991 and makes $31,025 a year.

Also arrested are Anna Ramirez and Rodney Warren, both charged with obtaining property by false pretense and conspiracy.

Police will only say the arrests involve the loss of city property in excess of $1,000 and that they are still trying to determine the final value.

All three people arrested have been released on bond.

According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections website, a 41-year-old Anna Renee Holland Ramirez, for which more than a dozen aliases are listed, has been convicted dozens of times for worthless checks, drugs and larceny. You can view her full record by clicking on the related link.

According to the North Carolina Department of Corrections website, a 43-year-old Rodney Keith Warren has DWI convictions.

I ddon't know the three embezzlers, but i am glad they got caught. But knowing them HICK TOWNS, they will get a pate on the back an say don't get caught next time and you get to keep your job. Well, if you are serious go ahead and investigate Aurora, because the embezzled grant money, land, deception and everything. think of this the person that does the audit for the town and every year nothing change, something has to change, what's up with that think of old BERNIE MADOFF. WAKE UP. SOME PEOPLE ARE REALLY STUPID, ARE YOU...

I know James Ivey and it suprises me that he would really do anything like this. I hope they prove it wrong at least for James...i would be very dissappointed in him if it is true!!
