Summer vacation doesn't necessarily mean relaxation time for all eastern Carolina teens, especially when you've got a title to win.
The 94-Greenville Stars is a local girls soccer team that's going to the Nationals in Raleigh next week.
These girls have already won North Carolina's President's Cup and the Regional Three-Cup. Now they're looking to make a little local history.
The team is the first Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association team to advance to the national finals. It includes players from Wilson, Washington and Greenville.
Coach Darren Dawson says they practice constantly, have a whole lot of determination and set their goals high. "Hopefully we'll be able to finish the job and come back to Greenville with a national cup."
The tournament kicks of Friday, July 17th as the Greenville Stars face a team from Washington State at WRAL's soccer complex in Raleigh.
