to good sport in washington this is the 15u team the playing age is determined by the players age as of march 30 or sometime in april not for sure of exact date so there may be some of these boys 16 by now .

The umpire spoke to the tournament director once during the game last night. That is hardly spending "his time talking to the director." As parents, we need to teach our children how to accept defeat. Step up and be an adult and stop looking for someone to blame. The score was 21-0. The umpires didn't cause that.

Too bad when people loose??? Check your grammar people!!! The same umpire that was in the field last night was behind home plate today...he lost count several times and used the scoreboard to keep count...how bad is that??? The rest of the game he spent his time talking to the director of the tournament...come on...HOMEGROWN!

It was a hard played game and a good game to watch; wish there had been more coverage, but thanks for what we did recieve. The boys have represented Washington well in the tournament; lets shine some more light on them! Good luck to them tomorrow night!

Thank you for covering the tournament.More would be better but still thanks. To bad when people loose they have to blame somebody. The calls were close ones but right. It was a good game to watch as the last one was also.

to baseball what type of calls where not fair i watched most of the game i tought the plate umpire did a good job with the balls and strikes he called the same for both teams and if you are refering to the last three outs of the game only one of those was close enough to question and the field umpire had good field position onthose calls and he was a lot closer to the action than any of the fans. itought the washington first baseman made a great play. the only way to elliminate the home umpire is for babe ruth to require umpirees to travel outside of their home district.

Let's hope the umpires are a bit more fair in the games today...at least the home team won't be playing so the "homegrown" umpire issue won't be in play.....
