complaints employees were selling marijuana while working at Mayflower in Washington.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says it conducted surveillance and witnessed one of the employees selling marijuana in the Mayflower parking lot.

Authorities say they confiscated a total of 180 grams of marijuana.

All four are charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

I have eaten at the Mayflower in Washington several times. It's a great place to eat and the people are very courteous and conciderate. Love the place.

Do you honestly think this doesn't happen in Greenville too?..Probably more so...Drugs being sold in parking lots is everywhere and anybody with any sense would not condemn the restaurant unless the owner is running a drug ring out of it! The food there is good and the prices are too. I hope they make a go of it. Cliff's is so overpriced. They need somebody to give them a run for their money. By the way, anybody took a gander at what does the cooking at Cliff's lately? That'll make you want to run!

It's a shame that so many people are associating the Mayflower with these arrests. Just because there were a couple of employees who were a part of these parking lot dealings does not make the Mayflower a bad place. I'm sure there are other businesses and/or institutions where this kind of thing happens (some of which people might be very surprised and appalled). Mr Rite, maybe you haven't spoken with the "rite" people...the food there is very good (everyone I've spoken with has said the same thing). And yes they do give generous portions, but not only at the Mayflower in Washington. I'm glad these criminals were caught and hope they get more than just a slap on the wrist.

Mayflower in Washington now? How did I not ever find out about a Mayflower coming to Washington until now, especially with the fact that I am usually around Washington a lot, but not lately? Where in Washington is this one at? I love Mayflower but was surprised that they hit up Washington especially since you have those places along the waterfront, but not surprised due to the fact that Mayflower is growing about like Bojangles and Cracker Barrel are. They need to hurry up on the one in Williamston. We should have had that years ago across from the Ag Center. Other than that, that's what these guys get for having it in a restaurant to begin with. DUH!

I have eaten at the Washington, Mayflower The food was good, and the help were nice. I never saw any drug buying. I did over hear some complaints from the help about people not tipping properly. I give them my 15% -20% tip everytime my family and I eat there O well I think give my share for there good service. Thanks Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. The Mayflower will be a safe place to eat at again.

Now Connie,You don't have to be an educated person to be a good drug free person, but I get the point. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the federal and state government for allowing these upstanding citizens into the country to sell drugs and kill.
