Silver Alert Cancelled For Missing Eastern Carolina Man

A Silver Alert has been cancelled for a missing New Bern Man.

Stan Safranski had been missing from the Good Shepherd Home for the Aged since Friday night.

The 33-year-old man was located Tuesday morning around 9:15 a.m. in good health by Beaufort County deputies.

In March Safranski was found in Washington following a similar incident.

Police are searching for a missing man from New Bern.

A silver alert has been issued for Stan Safranski. Lawmen say he suffers from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Safranski is 33, white, 5'7" tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen at 603 West Street in New Bern. Police say he may be headed to Washington N.C.

Anyone with information is asked to call the New Bern Police Department at (252)633-2020.

Police say no picture is yet available.

    why is there not a picture of this gentleman?why is the news not reporting that he was at an assisted living home?I was told that he was living at The Good Shepard Assisted Living Home In New Bern.

    why dont they have a picture of this gentleman since he was living at an assisted living facility?It would have been heplful if we had something to go by.
