Several Boys and Girls Clubs in the east will be receiving a back-to-school treat.
The Board of Directors and staff at Goodwill Community Foundation will be delivering school supply kits to nine clubs operating under the Boys and Girls Club in Pitt County.
The clubs will be receiving the kits this week and within the first and second week of September on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday.
On Monday, the Boys and Girls Clubs in Kinston will receive their supplies. Clubs in Winterville and Ayden will get theirs on Tuesday while on Friday, the clubs in Greenville and Farmville will receive their supplies.
Deliveries will be made to both Kinston and Winterville locations at 4 p.m. and Ayden and Farmville locations at 6 p.m.
There are two Boys and Girls Clubs in Greenville: one on Belvoir Highway and the other on South Washington Street. GCF Board of Directors and staff will be on site with kits at the Belvoir location at 3:30 p.m. and South Washington club at 5 p.m.
Two Fridays later, on Sept. 5, the Snow Hill club will get its kits around 4 p.m.
GCF will be present with supplies 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at Belhaven's Boys and Girls Club and 5:30 p.m. at the location in Washington.
