I met him, his wife and two other knifemakers at the East Carolina Widlife Festival a couple years ago. Believe he is the same one that has had some demos and knife guild meetings at his home. Glad to see others keeping the old crafts still alive and teachering others.

Good ol travis, the man behind the legend. It takes alot of talent and skill to make a knife from start to finish. Great Story! But i already knew he was smart when he married the best woman in the world!

thanks tom for the story it was great to see that someone else thinks my dad was worth interviewing,he's really awesome and i hope other people enjoy his work as much as i have growing up..keep up the good work dad.
