Wood Ducks team van "safe" after being stolen Thursday morning

KINSTON, NC (WITN) - The team van for the Down East Wood Ducks is "safe" after it was stolen Thursday morning.

The van, which has the professional baseball team's mascot plastered all over it, was taken from Grainger Stadium in Kinston.

Police say around 7:30 a.m. three people broke into the general manager's office through a window. They took keys to the van, a laptop, and a camera.

The van was recovered around 12:30 p.m. on Perry Street, according to police.

Police say no one has been arrested for this "steal" so far.
