Women's March organizer speaking at ECU MLK Jr. Day event

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - ECU is continuing the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a free public event Wednesday night.

They keynote speaker for the event is Tamika Mallory. She's an activist who served as the national co-chair for the 2016 Women's March on Washington. She's also said to have worked closely with the Obama administration on civil rights issues, equal rights for women, healthcare reform and more.

The MLK Jr. Day celebration service begins at 7pm at Wright Auditorium at ECU. Tickets are free and can be picked up at the door.
