The person who nominated Welsh wrote: “She lives and breathes teaching, and I see how much work she does when she gets home behind the scenes. Her passion for teaching is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I’ve seen her take her own money to buy her students school stuff because they couldn’t afford it. Every year she sponsors a student in the school at Christmas so they will not go without presents on Christmas morning.”

Congratulations Ashley Welsh!
