U.S. Army Saxophone Quartet performs across Eastern Carolina

EASTERN CAROLINA (WITN) - The U.S. Army Field Band Saxophone Quartet is in Eastern Carolina this week, performing for school and senior citizens groups alike.

The morning after a public performance at J.H. Rose High School, the quartet visited WITN News at Sunrise to talk about their education program they'll put on at several schools in ENC on Wednesday.

The U.S. Army Field Band Concert Band and Soldiers' Chorus will break into small specialty groups to visit schools and teach music clinics.

The group is made up of about 100 professional musicians who are all active-duty military members based out of Maryland. They travel together to perform and educate around 100 days out of the year.
