Two arrested after $400,000 in meth intercepted in Duplin County

DUPLIN COUNTY, NC (WITN) - More than $400,000 worth of liquid meth has been seized and two men are behind bars.

Duplin County deputies say on Friday they got information that a package was being shipped from Mexico to Williams Road in Beulaville.

Deputies, along with Homeland Security, the DEA and NCDMV officers delivered the package which contained four kilos of liquid methamphetamine.

Raul Bautista was arrested for trafficking meth, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver meth, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, conspiracy to traffic meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies also charged Kevin Hall with conspiracy to traffic meth.

Bautista was given a $400,000 bond, while Hall's bond was $101,000.
