NASH COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Three people are behind bars after deputies say they were found with a slew of fraudulent gift cards and several firearms along I-95.
The Nash County Sheriff's Office has charged three men from Covington, Georgia with Felony Identity Theft and several other charges after deputies say the trio was pulled over in their vehicle while traveling on I-95 Tuesday.
Deputies say that while conducting the traffic stop, they smelled marijuana and conducted a search of the vehicle. They found three handguns, about a dozen fraudulent gift cards, a handheld card skimmer and a laptop inside along with a small metal grinder with marijuana residue on it.
Joseph Pascall, Jerry Ladler and Kanton Pryor were each booked in to the Nash County Jail under $43,000 bonds and are scheduled to make first appearances in court on Thursday.
