GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A busy intersection in one Eastern Carolina city is back open to traffic Thursday morning.

Greenville police say traffic was backed up on Greenville Boulevard Wednesday night after a truck pulling a mobile home hit a fiber optic cable and knocked down the line.

The road was closed between Arlington Boulevard and Red Banks Road for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.

Traffic has resumed as normal.
