Warnings And Advisories
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Lenoir, Greene, Pitt, Beaufort, Martin, Washington, Tyrrell, Hyde and Dare counties. The advisory will remain in effect through 10am Monday as black ice remains a hazard. Temperatures will fall to the teens early Monday morning.

Monday
After low teens to start the day, skies will be mostly clear and sunny, but temps will only reach the low to mid 30s. Winds will slowly go flat calm in the afternoon as a high pressure system stays packed on top of us. Any ice left on the ground late Monday will stay on the ground overnight into Tuesday morning, although most should melt away Monday afternoon.

Rest of the Week
Temps will warm through the work week, rising to near 50° Tuesday, 60° Wednesday and finishing in the upper 60s to low 70s on Thursday and Friday. There is a slight chance of a few drops on Wednesday, but most of the region should stay dry (once the snow/sleet/ice melts and drains of course).
