SEATTLE (AP) - Police say a total of three officers were wounded in an exchange of gunfire with a robbery suspect in downtown Seattle.
Seattle Deputy Police Chief Carmen Best said Thursday night that in addition to the two officers hospitalized, a third officer suffered a wound to the hand.
She says the male officer, a 27-year-veteran, was treated at the hospital and released.
The two officers still in the hospital are expected to survive. A fourth officer hit on the head with a bottle was treated at the scene of the incident.
