KINSTON, NC (WITN) - Three more people have been charged in connection with a 2015 homicide of a Kinston man.
Kinston police say Erica Jones, 21, of Raleigh, Frankiena McCotter, 33, of New Bern, and Paris Hannibal, 33, of Kinston, have all been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
On July 19, 2015, Kinston police found 71-year-old Jack Davis, Jr. on Girl Scout Road with a severe head injury. The man later died at Vidant Medical Center from his injuries.
In the days following the murder, police arrested a half dozen people for murder, burglary, armed robbery, larceny and conspiracy.
Jones was arrested on Wednesday in Kinston and is being held on a $550.000 secured bond. McCotter was caught in New Bern on Thursday and jailed on a $250,000 secured bond, while Hannibal was nabbed Saturday in Kinston and has a $75,000 secured bond.
