Third shooting in four days under investigation in Elizabeth City

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WITN) - A third shooting in four days in Elizabeth City is under investigation.

21-year-old Trequan Moore of Walker Avenue was the latest victim treated at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Officers who responded to the hospital around 5:25 p.m. Thursday say Moore was shot in the wrist.

22-year-old Quentin Williams was treated for a gunshot wound to the elbow on Monday, and 31-year-old Arago Harrell received treatment for a gunshot wound to the shoulder on Wednesday.

Police are not saying if the shootings are connected but they are still investigating.
