TROPICAL UPDATE: Tropical Depression 19 forms in Atlantic

Tropical Depression 19 has formed in the deep Atlantic. It is expected to intensify later today, becoming Tropical Storm Rina, the 17th named storm of the season.

It is about 3,500 miles east-southeast of Bermuda and is heading north-northeasterly. This placement and track will keep the storm off in the ocean with no danger to the U.S.
