WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WITN) - A lockdown has been lifted at Winston-Salem State University after a student was stabbed on campus.
The university says Terrence Semple, 20, of Fayetteville, was injured near Hill Hall around 1:15 p.m. Friday.
The entire campus was put on lockdown a short time later. That lockdown was lifted around 3:30 p.m.
Semple was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center while Winston-Salem police are investigating the stabbing.
