UPDATE: Third suspect arrested in cellular store robbery

SNOW HILL, NC (WITN) - Snow Hill Police have arrested a third person in connection to the armed robbery of the Atlantic Wireless, an Authorized U.S. Cellular retailer.

19-year-old Ronald Sauls Jr., of Snow Hill, was arrested on Thursday and charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Officials say the men robbed the cellular store on Thursday, June 8.

28-year-old Lorenzo Thomas and 34-year-old Matthew Williams are also charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Snow Hill Police have arrested and charged two men in connection to the armed robbery of a cellular store on Wednesday.

Sgt. Gordon Hobbs says 28-year-old Lorenzo Thomas and 34-year-old Matthew Devon Williams are each charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Police were called to Atlantic Wireless, an Authorized U.S. Cellular retailer, on Southeast 3rd St. just before 1:30pm Thursday for reports of an armed robbery.

Employees told police a black male entered the store, showed a handgun and demanded cash.

Police believe one of the two men arrested went into the store while the other waited in their getaway car.

Thomas and Williams are each being held in the Greene County Jail under $75,000 bonds.

Police say an armed man walked into a cellular store and robbed it this afternoon.

Snow Hill police say the robbery happened around 1:20 p.m.at Atlantic Wireless on Southeast 3rd Street.

Sgt. Gordon Hobbs says the man showed an employee a handgun and he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Hobbs says no one was hurt in the robbery and so far no arrests have been made in the case.
