Santa brings snow and cheer for Ayden's Christmas parade

AYDEN, N.C. (WITN) - Christmas arrived in Ayden Thursday night.

The entire downtown business area is celebrating the holidays with extended hours and sales.

Restaurants and food trucks aligned on West Avenue with more than 20 street vendors and the Christmas Village where it snowed.

Santa and Mrs. Claus were there meeting with kids before the Christmas parade began on Lee Street at 6:30 p.m.

WITN's Jim Howard was also in Ayden marching in the Christmas Parade.
