Richlands High School - Alex Epley

ALEX EPLEY
BIOGRAPHY:
Hello, my name is Alex Epley and I am a current senior at Richlands High School. It seems surreal that in a few short months I will have graduated high school and will embark on the life-changing journey we call college. I can definitely say I would not be where I am today if it were not for the dedicated staff of Richlands High School. I would like to thank them as well as Onslow County for all the opportunities I have been provided.

My time at RHS has taught me the importance of getting involved and giving back to the community. I have been fortunate enough to have attended the North Carolina Governor’s School, served as a Senate Page under Majority Leader Harry Brown, and held numerous leadership positions at my school. I have also volunteered with the Richlands Elementary Boys & Girls Club during both their summer and school-year sessions. I love being able to volunteer at an organization that greatly impacted me throughout my childhood.

Values such as integrity, friendship and dedication were instilled in me by living in a town like Richlands. I plan to carry these values with me as I attend UNC Chapel Hill in the fall. I am honored and humbled to represent Richlands High School in WITN’s Class of 2016 and I would once again like to thank all my family, friends, and teachers who have been with me every step of the way! Congratulations class of 2016 and go Wildcats!
