Raleigh baby dies after being left in hot car

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A Raleigh family is grieving following the death of a 7-month-old old baby that was left in a hot car.

Members of the Mussa family say they left their 7-month-old son, Hakeem, in the family car for about four hours before realizing he was missing, according to our sister station WRAL.

Reports say Hakeem's father then went searching for the infant, only to find him dead in the car.

The family tried to do CPR while calling 911, but it was too late.

Authorities have not determined if charges will be filed in this case.
