Race for Epilepsy in Washington next Friday

A new race is being held to raise awareness about epilepsy.

The Race for Epilepsy half marathon, 5K or fun run will held on February 25th in the Washington Harbor.

James Patterson created Race For Epilepsy, Inc. after being diagnosed with epilepsy at age 5. Funds raised will be donated to CURE Epilepsy, a non-profit.

The half marathon and 5K will begin at 7 a.m. while the fun run starts at 8 a.m.

Runners can sign up in advanced or on race day.

Awards will be given in different age groups.
